Belly dance in Cairo

Thank you for your respectful piece on Oriental dance (the Eygptians call it "Raks Sharki", which translates literally as "dance of the east"). I was actually on my way to a dance workshop when I flipped on the radio to hear the piece. How serendipitous is that! Oriental dance has become very popular in the U.S. so your piece was very timely.

Thanks again for the good press on a wonderful art form.

Ghazala (AKA Mary)
