Translate Your PIN Before Going Abroad

Hi, Rudy!
Here's a tip for international travelers expecting to get cash from ATMs in foreign countries: Convert your alphabetic PIN to a numeric one before you leave. Why? You might get stuck with a numeric pad that looks nothing like the ones back home -- one without letters.

To get your PIN ready for international travel and the favorable exchange rates most ATMs offer, here's a translation guide:

2 = ABC
3 = DEF
4 =GHI
5 = JKL
6 = MNO
7 = PQRS
8 = TUV
9 = WXYZ

Another good idea: Get a second copy of your ATM or credit card, just in case it gets captured by an improperly programmed machine.
