Sun and Sea at a Serious Discount

During the last couple of years, cruise lines have unveiled bigger and bigger ships at a rapid rate. Demand hasn't kept up with supply though, so if you dream of escaping the winter chill to cruise the tropical waters of the Caribbean, listen up.

Princess is putting three of its ships on sale through a special cruise agency for part of January and February, saving you up to 50 percent in some cases. For example: Two people can share an inside stateroom aboard the Dawn Princess for as little as $115 a night. You'll get non-stop food, of course. But you pick up the airfare to and from Puerto Rico to catch the ship. Add another $100 for port and other government charges. The other two ships are the Ocean Princess and the new, mammoth Grand Princess, featuring a glassed-in disco overlooking the water, a big casino and two huge theaters. There are lots of places for kids to hang out, too, including a teen-only hot tub. Oh, yeah: The Grand Princess departs from Ft. Lauderdale, and stops at St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and the cruise line's private island, Princess Cay. The January 21 sailing will only cost you $544 a person for an inside cabin, $644 for an outside one. Get details from GalaxSea at 800 662 5450.
