Some good tips:
- If you're buying last-minute tickets for two, try buying them separately. Sometimes, you can get cheaper tickets that way because you won't have to try to get two seats side by side.
- Some last-minute travel deals include hotel accommodations and/or car rentals. So, you can get a cheap flight and more, all at once.
- When bidding on vacation auctions, remember that you will have to pay at least $100 in addition to your bid per person in taxes and surcharges.
- No time to read up on your destination? For a quick preview and local history of the city you want to visit, check out www.hellometro.com www.hellometro.com.
