Question of the Week: Stranded (7/27/2001)

Real Audio Listen in RealAudio          help Need audio help?

This is the part of the show where we hear from you. We asked you to call in with your experiences of being stranded. The rental car broke down, you missed your train, you were having so much fun on your way somewhere that you plain forgot about getting back. And many of you called in with true survival stories.

Next Week: Odd Roadside Sights

You've dodged alligators on a road with no aid stations. So what? You've made it through the night on a deserted island. Big deal! You've sweated out four days to make it back to civilization from Timbuktu. Whoop-dee-doo! We all know you don't have to go as far as these exotic locales to see really unique stuff. Sometimes the weirdest sights pop up right off the side of the highway. In all your travels, what has been the oddest roadside attraction to catch your eye? The largest twine ball has drawn a lot of people to Darwin, Minnesota, for example. We want to hear about the most unique roadside attraction you've ever visited.

Call or email us and share your story. The number is 888-SAV-TRAV. That's 888-728-8728.
