Nearly everyone in America's big cities has a taxi tale: the ride that ended in an accident, the cabbie that didn't know his way in the city, the one that took the longest route possible to bump up the fare. I bet you've had your share right here in the States... but add a foreign country into the mix, and things get, well, more interesting. Over the years you have called into the show with some pretty unusual stories about your taxi rides... Next Week: You know, cabbies aren't the only ones who taxi us around. Let us not forget the most important driver in our lives. You know the one, she shuttled us from soccer practice to birthday parties to clarinet lessons...that's right, I'm talking Mom. And with Mom's Day just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to hear about the most memorable trip that you took with that special woman in your life. Now, "most memorable" doesn't mean it has to be a good memory. Perhaps it was an excursion you'd rather forget, but can't...or maybe mom won't let you forget. Maybe it was that trip to summer camp when you spent your first night away from home. Or the time your mom drove you to your first day of school because you were afraid to take the bus. Chances are the trip meant something special for her as well...
Call or email us and share your story. The number is 888-SAV-TRAV. That's 888-728-8728.
