Question of the Week: Best Places for Romance There are certainly a lot of places in the world where cupid slings his arrows. Recently, we asked you to call in with your favorite place to find romance. From the island of Lesbos to Yosemite, from a villa in Tuscany to a lakeside cabin in Grand Marais, Minnesota, our listeners are well-traveled when it comes to finding passionate places of the heart.
Next Week: Best Places for Romance Ah, to be young and in love. Well, spring is right around the corner. It's a great time to be in love, and to start planning that summer trip! But you know what the hardest part about hitting the road and exploring the world is? Money - or, actually, lack of it. And between travel and the green stuff lies the good ol' catch-22. In order to have money, you have to have a job...but in order to travel, you need time off work. That is, unless you're one of those lucky people who can work and travel at the same time. Maybe it's crewing a sailboat off the coast of Greece or weather-proofing huts in Bora Bora. Some people will do whatever it takes to see the world. I want to hear about the strangest thing you've done to make a little extra money while traveling. Your oddest odd-job. Don't be embarrassed. Tell us your story. Call or email us and share your travel tune. The number is 888-SAV-TRAV. That's 888-728-8728. |
