Question of the Week

November 17, 2000

This week: Traveling with Your Boss

Sure, it's fun watching trains. Us? We would rather ride them. But the last thing most of us want to spot next to us on a train or a plane, bus or ship, for that matter, is the boss! Traveling with the one who signs your paycheck is seldom an enjoyable experience. At least that's what we learned after listening to your responses to our last question of the week. We asked you to tell us about those times you had to take a trip with your boss. From what we heard, traveling with upper management can be an eye-opening experience.

Next Week: Your Most Memorable Holiday Trip

Thanksgiving is less than a week away and before you know it the holidays will be in full swing. And so will all of those shoppers as they battle lines and their fellow customers scouring store shelves, in search of the latest Furby, razor scooter or Diga-Poke-whatever happens to be the craze of the nana-moment-whew-I'm getting exhausted and broke just thinking about it.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could just escape from it all and actually take a holiday during the holidays? Forget the traffic jams and the mall. We want to hear about the most memorable holiday trip you ever took. Where do you go in order to get away from the chaos and get closer to the true meaning of the holidays? What was it about the excursion that stuck in your mind? Maybe it stuck in your head in a bad way, not unlike oh, so many Christmas tunes already infiltrating store PA systems. Hopefully it was a fond memory. Your most memorable holiday trip. Good or bad. Send us an email or call 888-SAV-TRAV. That's 888-728-8728.
