Travel Music

Good travel music can make the journey as enjoyable as the destination.

The first two songs on my list are "The Boys of Summer" by Don Henley and Tom Petty's "You Wreck Me" -- these songs make me want to roll down the window, turn up the volume, feel the heat/cold of the outside world, and drive a little faster.

And then, when traveling with the one I love, there's nothing better than Nanci Griffith's "Two For the Road." It's great for the last leg of the day - when the sun is going down in a place unknown to us until that moment and we're feeling a little mellow.

Thanks for a great Question of the Week... makes me want to get on the road!
