No Savvy Travelers in San Francisco
Hello,
I just moved to San Francisco from Memphis, TN to take a new job.
While I love the Bay Area, one of my biggest disappointments is that
I can't get The Savvy Traveler on either the San Francisco (KQED) or
San Jose (KALW) public radio stations. It's not fair that 5 or 6
stations around L.A. carry it but none here.
My girlfriend thought I was crazy, but I made a regular habit of
waking up at 6 o'clock Saturday mornings primarily to listen to The
Savvy Traveler while I was in Memphis. When I moved and realized I
now had no Savvy Traveler to wake up with this Saturday morning, I
realized I don't really need to get up early Saturdays anymore. It
just goes to show how important your show is that my daily routine
may drastically change without it.
I will make sure the local stations understand my displeasure, but
until they comply...you will be missed.
