My 5th grade geography book

My 5th grade geography book was the one that most influenced me to travel. In the 4th grade we studied Europe, but in 5th grade we studied the Orient and Africa. I knew then what I wanted to do when I grew up.

I am now 78 years old and started to travel worldwide in 1967. To date I have been to at least 65 countries (I haven't counted them up recently). I have not cruised as I consider them a bore, but I did cruise the Galapagos Islands. There are still many places to go to, visit and enjoy!

I could never name one favorite place, but I will name five.

Delphi in 1967 (it is not the same now), Machu Pichu, The Great Wall in China, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, and Washington, DC as I think it is the most beautiful capital I have ever seen. Of course, there are many, many others.

I have been a fortunate woman to have been able to so much traveling and I am grateful for all the pleasure it has given me.

Happy traveling to you and all your staff.

Bea
