We don't know about you, but travel always makes us want to write long juicy letters to everyone we know. Maybe it's bragging rights, maybe it's a burst of poetic inspiration from seeing the Taj Mahal, but one way or another, suitcases and sunsets in strange places turn us into letter-writing fools. So, if it turns out you're the same way....be sure to include us in your list of people you just have to drop a line to. Don't worry, you will make us jealous...but hopefully we'll also be inspired by your adventures.

The Savvy Traveler's 'Attack on America' Coverage: 'Brilliant' or Boring?
Dear Savvy Traveler,
I just needed to tell you all how much I appreciated the 9/14 weekend show. What a brilliant and compassionate response to the tragedy that struck us this week. It was perfect. Moving without being mawkish, personal without being egotistical, and informative without being either depressing or dull. You all have worked hard to come up with a positive yet realistic response to Tuesday's attack, and I commend and thank you for it.

Who are you and what have you done with my Savvy Traveler? If I want maudlin reflections and industry interviews, I'll watch CNN. (They do it better anyway.) Some of us still love travel, and you've let us down.
