Christopher English

I am the sister of Chris English. Thanks for the tribute to my brother on May 6. He was quite an interesting character and totally obsessed with flying. Most of his flying memorabilia was donated to the Washington Airline Society. A number of the airline trade publications are also running stories on Chris' passion for flying. After his death, my husband and I had the task of sorting through his collection of photos, airline tickets, log books, and other assorted items. The amount of material was overwhelming as his filing system was based on the three letter airport codes, many of which we were unfamiliar to us. Too bad you couldn't have been there to help us identify them because many of his photos now remain placeless. He certainly saw the world many times over and was one of the most entertaining people I have ever known.

By the way, my parents and I inherited over a million frequent flyer miles on assorted airlines, so Chris' legacy will live on. Happy travels!!!

Elizabeth English
