In-Law Insomnia

The summer of 1998, my in-laws came to visit our family. We live in Anchorage, Alaska. Part of their "Alaskan Experience" was to spend three days traveling with them by car showing them this part of Alaska. They had come to visit us when we lived in Southeast Alaska but they had not come any further north. The first two nights, we were all in the same hotel room. Both of them snored so loudly! And they never synchronize their snoring. When one was taking a breath, the other snored. Of course my husband slept through the whole night. The next night we were in a cabin. We took the loft. I never heard any noise that night, I was so exhausted.
