Strange Customs
I travel to Mexico about once a year to help with an education
program for kids in Guaymas, Sonora and have to make a little
adjustment to my habits while in the bathroom. It rather a nasty
custom I think, but you're supposed to put your toilet paper in the
wastebasket not the bowl. Mainly I think it's because the
plumbing don there isn't so great so they don't want the paper to
clog the pipes.
