Unique Winter Vacation

Wintergreen Dogsled Lodge, the only North American resort dedicated exclusively to dogsledding vacations, is featured in the November-December issue of National Geographic Traveler magazine. Wintergreen vacation's offer persons ages eight to 80 the chance to drive their own team of Eskimo dogs on wilderness trails each day and enjoy luxury log cabins with gourmet meals by a four-star French chef each evening.

The Boundary Waters Wilderness on the Minnesota-Ontario wilderness, where Wintergreen is based, is sited in this month's issue of National Geographic Traveler as one of the world's top 50 must-see travel destinations. Wintergreen is directed by Paul Schurke, recipient of Outside magazine's "Outdoors Person of the Year" award and dubbed by Backpacker magazine as the "King of Cool" for being one of the world's top winter skills experts. Paul has led five dogsled expeditions to the North Pole.
