Memorable Vacation

I and seven other canoeists took an unguided trip in the Yukon and Northwest Territories. Sixteen days and 350 miles in a 30,000 square mile river drainage with 12 permanent residents. Spectacular and tough. I have a picture of seven men napping on melon sized rocks after a long portage around rapids. Too tired to feel the rocks. Whirlpools as big around as a canoe, four foot standing waves in the rapids. It was 13 years ago. Give me a day to pack and I'd do it again.
