Hotel Alternatives

Being an frequent listener to your spots on

This type of accommodation, is nearly always larger than a hotel room with all the amenities of a typical "second" home such as a separate living room, private bedrooms, full kitchens and laundry facilities. Obviously, I have some interest in this subject since I work for such a company. But this kind of accommodation has always been great for me and my family who wanted to get away, but still have some of the comforts of home without the sometimes frenetic activity found in a hotel. Thus, I jumped at the chance to work for a company in this industry.

We aren't the only company doing this. Our estimate is there are nearly 4,000 vacation property management companies in North America alone. I'd appreciate your thoughts on this segment of the travel industry.

Thanks for all the great travel tips!

Frederick
