Music for the Road

Whether I'm driving or on a plane I always start out listening to They Might Be Giants' album from 1990 called "Flood." It's a collection of songs that's bouncy and quirky and instantly puts me in a relaxed mood. It starts out with Birdhouse in your Soul and goes on through Istanbul, Particle Man and other classics. I have listened to it so often that I know it by heart and to prove it I sang the entire thing while driving through New Mexico with my cousin in a car that didn't have a cassette deck. He nearly through me out of the car, but I had to have my music.
