UK steeplechase and WWII aerodromes

The lady who called in today re the above subjects should visit Duxford, outside Cambridge, where there is the largest collection of operable WWII 'planes and a new American Museum devoted to US aircraft of WWII.

The main steeplechase event is the Grand National, held at Aintree, outside Liverpool. The UK equivalent of the Kentucky Derby in importance (the steeplechase counterpart of Ascot); the race this year was on April 10.
