Road Rules

Although it is easy to get frustrated, I can usually calm down when I consider that the driver is going as fast as they can safely and comfortable. I'm still peeved that they are in a passing lane but I wouldn't want them to go faster if they can't handle the speed.

Gripe: In the US, we drivers have not really established nor follow any rule about the left lane being a passing lane. In Germany, on the other hand, the positional rules are much more defined, understood, and obeyed which removes some of the stress. It would take over 20 years of education and enforcement before the U.S. could behave in a similar fashion.

Thanks for your show and the fascinating worldwide perspectives.

-Mike
