By Any Other Name...

On January 23rd, if I heard right, you said that National Airport is now officially Reagan Airport. If you check (say, with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, 703-572-2700), you'll find that Washington National Airport was officially renamed Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Some of the media (e.g., the Washington Post and Channel 4 News) have taken to calling it Reagan National (with or without the "Airport"), while others say Washington National. Most of us, however, omit the name of either president and continue to refer to the place as National Airport, or simply National (as in "I'm flying out of National").

Interesting program -- keep up the good work!

--Mike
