Best Beaches?

I was not very impressed with your beach authors, who apparently are focused only on city beaches. You don't get very good beaches if you have to be near a city.

To cite Miami Beach as top in the US is ludicrous! I've been to them all, and no beach on the Atlantic or Gulf coasts holds a candle to ANY beach on the Pacific. It's the surf, stupid!

Yes, you might not be able to get a taxi to Caribbean beaches, but I was able to think of a fabulous one immediately ... The Baths, on Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

And, the best beach in the world? Ras Muhammad at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, previously Israel, now Egypt.

Ah, well, to each his own.

Thanks for a great show.
