Astoria, My Home Town
Driving South on Interstate 5 from Sacramento I
was searching the radio stations. As I was
searching I heard something about Oregon, so I
turned the dial back to hear if something might
be said about my wonderful, little home town.
What do you know, Astoria was the feature! I
absolutely loved the program about Astoria. The
two reporting did such a fantastic job of
catching the beauty and essence of Astoria. The
clip from the Astoria Column made me cry because
I have climbed it and have been taken away by the
beauty of the surrounding area once reaching the
top. It made me a bit homesick. I was so
excited that such justice was being done to the
little town I called home.
