Interested in checking out the colorful fall foliage on the East Coast? Well, Choice Hotels, which runs hotels under the names Comfort, Clarion and Rodeway Inns, has put together some leaf-peeping packages with a bevy of extras at properties up and down the Atlantic coast. Keep in mind: these special offers are only good if you can travel during weekdays.

For example, you'll be able to check into the Rodeway Inn in Kittanning, Pa., for $75, now through Halloween. You'll get a free breakfast, a bottle of sparkling cider, and a number of other rather pleasing freebies. Or, how about the Brandywine Valley Comfort Inn in West Chester, Pa, outside of Philly? Well, for $90 a night for a double, you'll also get breakfast, plus two-for-one coupons for attractions such as Longwood Garden and the Brandywine River Museum.

And, finding turning leaves won't be too difficult at any of the destinations, such as the Vermont Comfort inn in St. Johnsbury, where $149 claims a double through October 20th. In South Burlington, Vt., $29 gets you a night at the Clarion Inn, plus $5 worth of gas, and even museum discounts. That's good through October 17th. There are also special room rates in West Springfield, Mass., and Williamsburg, Va.

So, what's the fine print?

Well, these offers are only good on weekdays. For the full menu of what you get at each hotel, go to http://www.choicehotels.com, or call (800) 4-CHOICE.
