Well, what if I told you that you could go to a warm island this winter and stay at an all-inclusive resort for only $69 per person per day? You might be skeptical, but in this case, it really includes everything - all food, all drinks, your room, plus sport activities, and, of course, sun. See, there's new line of resorts begun by SuperClubs, the folks who brought you Breezes and the singles-themed Hedonism Resorts. They have a new line debuting this winter called Starfish Resorts. And the first one opens December 11th in Jamaica, just a 45-minute drive away from the Montego Bay airport.

It's an introductory one, but it runs from December 11th - opening day - all the way through Valentine's Day, 2002...Except for the 10 days before New Year's, which is always prime time. So, a couple gets three meals a day, all drinks, and sports equipment, plus Jamaica, for about $140 a day. There are three pools, a couple of spas, four tennis courts, and even an ice skating rink should you find it difficult to leave winter behind.

These resorts are designed to be very "family friendly," so you don't have to worry about leaving the kids behind. For example, there's a kids' club for anyone under 14, and kids are free if they stay in the same room with their parents.

There's not much fine print: you make your own air arrangements - that's the biggest not included - and you must book your trip by the last day of this month to receive the introductory rate.
