Deal of the Week: TWA's Last Gasp

Real Audio Listen with RealAudio          help Need audio help?

Call it a Last Gasp Sale, call it a Summer Sale - call it anything you want - TWA is offering some great deals. Of course, the markings on the outside of the plane will gradually begin to read "American Airlines," but prices like these look pretty good under any name:

  • Between Baltimore/Washington and San Diego, $198 round trip.
  • Between Seattle and St. Louis, 198.
  • Between LA and Raleigh/Durham, also 198.

Those fares are available at twa.com. You generally have to stay over a Saturday night and book two weeks in advance. But you have until May 24th to buy your ticket and you can fly through September 10th.

But wait, there's more. TWA is offering other great fares on Travelocity.com. Like between DC and LA for $237. New Orleans and Chicago, $150. And Seattle and Boston, $237. Some deals are available on a four-day advance purchase basis. But you must buy your ticket by May 16th and conclude travel by May 26th.

Bid adieu to TWA by saving big on summer travel. And pick up a souvenir with the airline's logo on it when you're changing planes in St. Louis, won't you?

A sale at twa.com and travelocity.com - that's my Deal of the Week!
