It's a confusing time for us travelers. Experts suggest this is the safest time possible to travel. And yet airline passenger traffic is down about 50%. Corporate travel is scaled back to necessary trips only. And yet some leisure travelers are taking advantage of great hotel rates. The airlines are reeling with staggering losses and we all thought some attractive fares would be offered to get passengers back in the seats. But that hasn't been the case. We could use some help figuring out what's going on, so we've asked travel consumer advocate Ed Perkins to analyze the current travel climate for us.
