Scott Carrier first told us about his experiences in Cambodia two years ago, and as we come upon that countrys "Day of Hate", the May 20th anniversary of its horrific past, it does seems that more and more people are visiting Cambodia now. Lonely Planet has just released the third edition of its Cambodian Guidebook. It covers a lot of places that are just opening up to tourists.

Nick Ray wrote the guide. In fact, he's fresh off the plane, about six hours ago, back from Phnom Pehn. I asked him how he sees Cambodia dealing with its past, and if the specter of the Khmer Rouge still haunts the Cambodian people.
