1998 season: May 19 to September 20, with matinee and evening performances, Tuesdays through Sundays.

As You Like It opens May 19th; Merchant of Venice opens May 20.

Also playing: the Elizabethan-era plays The Honest Whore by Thomas Dekker (opens August 1) and A Mad World, My Masters by Thomas Middleton (opens August 2).

Booking in person: The box office is located at the New Globe Walk entrance to the Globe Theatre. Open from Mon-Sat, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. (6 p.m. when the theatre is closed).
Tickets are also available with a small booking fee from Ticketmaster ticket centers, including selected HMV stores nationwide (in the UK), Tower (Piccadilly, Kensington, Camden and Bayswater), The Dorchester Hotel and The London Tourist Board (Victoria Station).

GETTING TO THE GLOBE:
The Globe is located on the south bank of the Thames, between Southwark and Blackfriars Bridges, across the river from St. Paul's Cathedral.

By Train:
London Bridge, Cannon Street, Blackfriars, Waterloo

By Underground:
Mansion House, Monument or Cannon Street (District and Circle Lines)
Cross over Southwark Bridge, turning right down steps at south end of bridge and walk west alongside the River Thames. You will be able to see the Globe from Southwark Bridge.

London Bridge (Northern Line)
Cross over to Southwark Cathedral, go down steps and follow signs to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.

By Bus:
149 (peak hours only) to Southwark Bridge

45, 63, 172 to Blackfriars Bridge
15, 17, 25, 521 to Cannon Street
