Question of the Week: Travel Volunteering (11/9/2001)

In the Weeks to Come:

We've talked a lot about volunteer vacations on this show. American teenagers taking poor kids in Bombay to the movies for the very first time, for instance. A recent study showed that kids who volunteer get better grades and have fewer problems, both at school and at home. Add travel into the mix, and we put our problems into a world perspective. We'd love to hear your story of getting involved on your travels, especially if the experience changed you somehow.

Give us a call and tell us your story.

Call or email us and share your story. The number is 888-SAV-TRAV. That's 888-728-8728.
