Getting Sick on the Road

You noted a couple of weeks ago that it's terrible to get sick on the road. May I give you another viewpoint?

If you have to be sick, a hotel is a great place to be. Maid service (i.e., clean sheets every day), room service and no chores around the house or office to make you feel guilty. Just read or watch T.V., send out for orange juice and relax. I've been tempted sometimes to check into a local hotel when I've been ill.

Of course, it's no fun to miss out on a vacation, but still, if a bug catches me, a good hotel is a great place to hole up for the duration.
