Such a Bargain!

I wanted to travel to the Philippines after completing some business in Hawaii. I live in Maryland. I planned to exchanged my Honolulu to Washington, D.C. return ticket for a trip from Honolulu to Manila to DC. The first fare came to $750. A few weeks later it went to $440. I bought the ticket and made my trip. When returning they overbooked in Japan and offered $400 to exchange seats. I had all I needed in my carry-on, so I took the bump; arrived home an hour later than originally planned; received my bags the next day. My airfare to Manila: $42! Had an excellent time diving.
