Petra Objection

Joan Reiss betrayed her perspective in claiming that tourism to Petra began flourishing only after the Israeli-Jordanian border opened. I traveled to Petra in 1978 (from Tehran, where I was living then), and found it extremely popular with tourists. Otherwise, her story was great.

That said, I have to tell you that I truly enjoy your show. Keep up terrific work!

Cheers,

--Rich
