Interview: Richie Unterberger - Musical Vacations

It's time to start planning our upcoming spring and summer vacations, and in keeping with our music theme today, why not see what's out there for musical vacations?

Of course there are the well-known events, like the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival at the end of April, or Chicago's Blues Fest, the weekend after Memorial Day.

But to get at some of the lesser-known, and in a lot of ways, better festivals around the country, I talked with Richie Unterberger, the author of "The Rough Guide to Music USA."
